Utility Courier

The company is seeking a Courier Utility 207 to join its Summerside, PE location to support timely and reliable package deliveries. This is a temporary, full-time role requiring flexibility across various shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily schedules.

• Scan packages and mail as received, delivered, or returned using electronic tracking systems.

• Resolve problems in collaboration with Dispatch and customers while on route.

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections via electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (E-DVIR).

• Notify the unit manager of any inspection failures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of high school; vocational or business courses are an asset.

• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.

• Ability to lift and lower packages up to 70 pounds.

• Competencies include collaboration, effective communication, customer focus, self-development, and instilling trust.

Skills

• Domestic shipping and courier services.

• Shipping and receiving operations.

• Physical demands: lifting, standing, sitting, climbing.

• Mental demands: problem-solving, concentrated attention, long periods of driving, handling confrontational situations.
