Our glaziers play a crucial role in installing and maintaining glass elements, mirrors, and related products in commercial and industrial buildings. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team that ensures the installation of glass in various structures while prioritizing safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass elements, mirrors, or glass products on walls, ceilings, or facades of buildings.

  • Manufacture metal frames for the installation of glass.

  • Prepare and install skylights and glass roofs on various types of buildings.

  • Install, adjust, manufacture, and secure architectural metals or related replacement products in commercial or industrial buildings.

  • Replace damaged glass or sealing materials.

  • Read and interpret plans and technical specifications to determine the type and thickness of glass, frames, installation methods, and required materials.

Working Conditions:

  • Average of 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, 5 days a week).

  • Opportunities for overtime during peak periods, depending on the contract.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a secondary school diploma (Grade 12 or equivalent).

  • Training and support available for those wishing to complete 150 hours to become an apprentice glazier.

  • Interest in glazing work and a strong team player.

  • Physical work, comfort working at heights, and ability to handle heavy glass.

  • ASP construction card and skills certification (an asset).
