Architectural Representative

Description:

IKO North America, a global leader in commercial roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope materials, is seeking an Architectural Representative to manage and grow its business across the western region of Quebec, including the greater Montreal area. With a legacy of over 70 years, IKO operates on the foundation of integrity, reliability, and quality, and is looking for a motivated, self-disciplined individual to drive product specification and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review public (SEAO) and private bid specifications to ensure IKO products are approved and included in tender documents

• Build demand and explore new business opportunities with architectural firms and consultants

• Deliver product knowledge sessions including lunch & learn presentations for architects, consultants, and property managers (both public and private sectors)

• Cultivate long-term relationships with key specifiers and decision-makers

• Represent IKO at industry events and association activities to promote products

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or in technical sales representation

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently

• Skilled in public speaking and relationship-building

• Honest, reliable, and team-oriented

• Comfortable with occasional multi-day travel

• Knowledge of commercial roofing and/or building envelope industry is an asset

• Architecture technology diploma is an asset

• Valid driver’s license required
