Engineering Director

Description:

Côté Personnel is seeking a Directeur Ingénierie (Engineering Director) to lead strategic and innovative engineering projects from conception to final delivery. This leadership role offers significant influence within the company, including participation in the executive committee to shape technical strategy and drive growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the engineering team to foster collaboration and excellence

• Overseeing design, technical expertise, and structural project conception

• Supervising plans and specifications to ensure quality and compliance

• Driving innovation with a focus on a unique flat roof system product in North America

• Providing technical support to sales, estimation, project management, and production teams

• Actively contributing to R&D initiatives and continuous improvement

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing project challenges

Profile Requirements:

• Civil engineer specialized in structure, member of OIQ

• 10+ years of experience in structural design

• Strong leadership and vision for innovation

• Experience with concrete floor systems is a strong asset

• Fluent in French, intermediate English proficiency

• Willingness to travel (construction site visits, factory visits in Saint-Georges, etc.)
