Electrical Estimator

Quantum Management Services Ltd. is actively recruiting for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join a dynamic and passionate team in Mirabel, QC, supporting large-scale institutional and commercial construction projects. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who combines technical expertise in electrical systems with strong analytical skills, and thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for diverse electrical installations and infrastructure works within major institutional and commercial projects. Your efforts will directly contribute to successful project planning, budgeting, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze electrical project requirements and prepare detailed cost estimates using specialized estimation software (preferably TPL or similar).

• Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and subcontractors to gather necessary technical information and pricing.

• Review electrical plans, blueprints, and technical documentation to determine material and labor requirements.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all estimates, considering project-specific factors and industry standards.

• Provide risk assessments, budgeting support, and recommendations during the bidding phase.

• Participate in team meetings to support cost control strategies and value engineering solutions.

• Stay updated on market pricing trends, electrical codes, and construction practices to ensure competitive and realistic bids.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical estimation for industrial, institutional, or commercial projects.

• Strong understanding of heavy electrical works and sector-specific methodologies.

• Proficiency in estimation software, preferably TPL, or similar.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.

• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal communication and a collaborative mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: Up to CAD $120,000 annually, based on experience
