Youth And Student Ministries Leader

Beth Shechinah Messianic Congregation, Calgary’s first Messianic, Torah-observant community, is seeking a Youth and Student Ministries Leader to minister to youth and young adults. Working closely with the Lead Rabbi and Shabbat School Coordinator, you will guide and disciple young believers, helping them grow in faith. Your passion for mentorship and youth engagement will empower the next generation to integrate faith into their daily lives. Additionally, you will lead and develop a team of volunteers to support the ministry’s vision.

Responsibilities:

• Engage and disciple youth and young adults, fostering spiritual growth

• Partner with parents to support faith development at home

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate volunteers in the youth ministry

• Develop and implement youth programs in alignment with Beth Shechinah’s vision

• Organize and lead youth events, Bible studies, and discipleship activities

• Provide pastoral care and support for students and their families

• Collaborate with the Lead Rabbi and Shabbat School Coordinator to ensure a cohesive ministry approach

• Communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and the congregation

Qualifications:

• Strong personal relationship with Yeshua (Jesus Christ), demonstrating spiritual maturity and a consistent walk of faith

• A heart for youth and young adults, with a passion for discipleship

• Experience in youth or young adult ministry (preferred)

• Degree in theological studies or youth ministry (recommended but not required)

• Deep understanding of the Messianic Faith, with a clear calling to serve in a Messianic congregation

• Agreement with the Christian Faith and the Beth Shechinah constitution

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills

• Engaging speaking ability with excellent communication skills

• Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm under pressure

• Relational mindset, able to mentor and equip leaders in an Ephesians 4:12 ministry environment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-staff team
