Description:

Labatt Breweries of Canada, one of the founding companies of Canada and a leading brewery with over 175 years of heritage, is hiring a Warehouse Clerk (Evening/Night Shift) for its Gatineau location. The role involves preparing customer orders, handling heavy loads, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness while working in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer orders using the VoicePick system by placing beer cases and barrels on pallets and wrapping them securely.

• Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.

• Clean and maintain transshipment areas.

• Handle heavy lifting, up to 80 lbs, and perform manual labor tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing ladders/stairs.

• Follow all safety and PPE requirements (safety shoes, glasses, cap, hearing protection).

• Participate in team activities and work in night or evening shifts.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly wage: 20.71 CAD/hour + Night Premium (1.15 CAD/hour).

• Salary range: 20.71–24.91 CAD/hour with annual increases (after 1,400 hours).

• One case of beer per month for every 80 hours worked.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 16 years.

• Good physical condition to handle heavy loads (over 700 cases per shift).

• Availability for night or evening shifts.

• Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
