TC Transcontinental, a leader in flexible packaging, printing, and educational publishing in Canada, is seeking a skilled Night Shift Electromechanic to join its team in Boucherville, QC. This role combines diagnostic, maintenance, and repair responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of machinery during night shifts, supporting production and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.

• Perform repairs and troubleshooting to maintain machine functionality.

• Conduct necessary adjustments and preventive maintenance on machinery.

• Support production activities to minimize operational downtime.

• Analyze failures and implement effective solutions.

• Participate in developing and applying a preventive maintenance program.

• Track and order parts as needed.

• Ensure personal and team safety while working on equipment.

• Comply with all health and safety standards related to machinery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• DEC / DEP in Electromechanics or 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Flexible, versatile, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

• Organized and structured in completing tasks.

• Comfortable using computer systems and reading technical plans.

• Knowledge of the printing industry is considered an asset.

Work Schedule:

• Rotating night shifts:

  • Week 1 & 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (19:00 – 07:00)

  • Week 3 & 4: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (19:00 – 07:00)
