Description:
Airbus Atlantique, a global leader in aerostructures and premium aircraft seating, is seeking a Quality Inspector (Inspecteur Qualité) to join its cutting-edge manufacturing site in Mirabel, Quebec. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that all aircraft components and assemblies meet strict engineering requirements, customer specifications, and quality standards while maintaining adherence to health and safety regulations.

Production Support: Provide the production team with the necessary technical information to perform tasks effectively and in compliance with engineering requirements.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet customer specifications, engineering instructions, and quality standards.
Inspection & Verification: Conduct preliminary, progressive, and final inspections of aircraft structures and systems to verify operational functionality.
Non-Conformity Management: Report, document, and follow up on non-conformities; validate and approve corrective actions and repairs.
Tool Calibration: Verify that production tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing quality improvement and process optimization initiatives within the plant.
Educational Background:
D.E.C. or A.E.C. in Mechanical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, or Aeronautical Construction
OR
D.E.P. in Structural Assembly with at least 2 years of experience as a structure assembler
OR
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in the aerospace or related manufacturing industry
Technical and Skill Requirements:
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and engineering drawings
Good general mechanical knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong command of technical English (reading and comprehension)
Skilled in using precision measurement tools and inspection instruments
Familiarity with SAP and PLM systems considered an asset
Knowledge of CATIA or other 3D design software is an advantage
Ability to pass a technical interview and/or practical test as part of the selection process
