Description:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

o elementary teaching experience;
o strong classroom management skills;
o the ability and energy to work with multi-age groups and meet the needs of

students with a range of learning styles and abilities using a variety of teaching
strategies;

o strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills to communicate
with students, staff, and parents in a team oriented approach to teaching and
learning;

o strong formative assessment practices;
o experience with RTI (Response to Intervention) systems;
o ability to integrate technology to enhance student learning;
o strong interest in innovation and inquiry; and
o ability to embed local Indigenous culture and ways of knowing into teaching

practices.
