Mutual Funds Associate

Raymond James Ltd., one of Canada’s leading independent investment dealers, is seeking a Mutual Funds Associate to join their Operations team in Vancouver, BC. This role supports the Systematic Plans and Non-Financial Updates functions, contributing directly to the efficient processing of mutual fund transactions. The position demands high attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and follow up on systematic plan requests with mutual fund companies

• Process internal transfer of Raymond James Ltd. mutual fund positions using FundSERV

• Manually submit internal transfer requests to mutual fund companies when needed

• Update and submit advisor and client demographic data to fund companies

• Review and forward manual Segregated Fund and Offbook Account applications for processing

• Provide support and backup for team members as required

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the investment/securities industry

• Solid understanding of investment concepts and operational procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick to learn new applications

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment

• High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information

• Strong verbal and written communication skills including videoconferencing and email etiquette

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred Assets:

• Experience with Dataphile and FundSERV

• Bilingual proficiency in French
