Member Services Representative

Description:

Coast Capital Savings, one of Canada’s largest member-owned financial cooperatives with over 600,000 members, is seeking a Member Services Representative (MSR) to join their Kelowna Branch. The MSR plays a crucial role in providing frontline financial services, delivering personalized banking solutions, and building lasting relationships with members.

In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for members, balancing friendly service with financial advisory support. You will proactively engage members through money chats, identify their current and future financial needs, and connect them with appropriate Coast Capital products and services. A key responsibility includes educating members about digital banking platforms while ensuring seamless in-branch experiences.

The position also requires vigilance in safeguarding against fraud, counterfeit transactions, and compliance issues. MSRs contribute to team success by listening, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with colleagues to provide comprehensive financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Greeting members and delivering excellent customer service aligned with Coast Capital values.

• Proactively identifying financial needs and offering tailored solutions.

• Educating members on mobile and online banking.

• Contributing to team goals by spotting opportunities and collaborating with colleagues.

• Resolving and preventing banking issues while creating a positive member experience.

• Acting as the first line of defense against counterfeit and illegal activities.
