Host Network Officer

Description:

Terego is seeking a passionate and dynamic Host Network Officer to join our growing team. This part-time position (21 hours/week) involves soliciting agritourism businesses such as vineyards, orchards, and farms to join the Terego network and prepare them to welcome RV travellers. You will be the key contact for these businesses and will help ensure their satisfaction along with that of Terego members. You will also support our ambassadors in recruiting new hosts and evaluate applications from English-speaking businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit new hosts across Canada by contacting agritourism businesses that meet Terego’s criteria

• Support Terego ambassadors in recruiting new hosts in the field

• Evaluate applications submitted by English-speaking businesses

• Ensure the quality of sites in the Terego network

• Provide customer service to hosts as needed

• Attend trade fairs and staff meetings as required

• Assist the team with tasks related to achieving company objectives

Competencies and Skills:

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Working knowledge of spoken and written French

• Customer-oriented with a positive attitude, diplomacy, and strong listening skills

• Excellent communication and persuasion skills

• Relevant experience in sales, prospecting, or promotional activities

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently

• Knowledge of the recreational vehicle industry is an asset
