Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced FPGA Architect / Avionics Hardware Team Lead to support advanced aerospace and avionics programs in North America. This role focuses on end-to-end FPGA architecture, development, integration, verification, and compliance for safety-critical avionics systems.

Key Requirements:
✔ Strong expertise in VHDL / Verilog
✔ Hands-on FPGA/ASIC development and verification experience
✔ Experience with Xilinx, Altera, or Microsemi FPGA platforms
✔ Strong understanding of FPGA architecture, power consumption, startup, and transient behavior
✔ Experience with high-speed buses, memory architectures, and processing interfaces
✔ UNIX/Linux environment experience
✔ 10–15 years of aerospace / avionics industry experience
✔ Fluent French communication is mandatory
Responsibilities:
• Define and contribute to FPGA and hardware architectures
• Lead FPGA development, integration, and verification activities
• Produce and validate DO-254 compliance documentation
• Ensure complete requirements traceability through validation
• Supervise FPGA block design and implementation
• Collaborate with system, hardware, software, and production teams
• Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
✔ DO-254 / DO-160 certification exposure
✔ Experience with civil or military avionics products
✔ Programming experience in Python / C / C++
✔ Master’s / PhD in Embedded Electronics or related domain
