Electrical Assembler

Description:

Airbus Atlantique, a world leader in aerostructures and premium passenger seating, is seeking motivated Electrical Assemblers for the A220 aircraft program at its modern Mirabel site in Montreal. In this role, you will be responsible for performing electrical assembly operations with the highest standards of precision, safety, and quality in compliance with Airbus Atlantique and Bombardier procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical assembly operations strictly following health and safety regulations.

• Read, interpret, and analyze electrical and mechanical diagrams, drawings, and technical documentation.

• Install, mount, and secure electrical harnesses and components on various supports (structures, clamps, fastenings, etc.).

• Carry out quality checks on sub-assemblies and manufactured electrical harnesses.

• Participate in First Article Inspection (FAI) activities with Quality, Methods, and Production teams.

• Ensure compliance with Airbus standards, production cadence, and engineering drawings.

• Record test results, measurements, and characteristics; report any non-conformance or modifications.

• Follow Airbus procedures, processes, and safety guidelines in all assembly operations.

Profile Requirements:

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Cable and Circuit Assembly or equivalent training/experience.

• At least 3 years’ relevant aerospace electrical assembly experience.

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical plans (knowledge of Bombardier procedures is an asset).

• Manual dexterity combined with strong technical understanding.

• Bilingual (French/English – functional English for supplier interactions).

• Knowledge of Airbus processes, manufacturing methods, and special processes (heat treatments, non-destructive testing, surface conditioning, coatings).

• Proficiency in using conventional measuring tools.

• Strong teamwork, autonomy, and proactive attitude with a passion for aeronautics.

• Knowledge of SAP, Net‐Inspect, PLM, BASL, EMCM considered an asset.

• Familiarity with Catia or other 3D design software is a plus.
