Field Project Manager

Description:

Otis Elevator Company, a global leader in the manufacturing, installation, and servicing of elevators and escalators, is seeking a Field Project Manager – New Equipment to oversee and manage new equipment projects. The ideal candidate will ensure project efficiency, timely execution, cost containment, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all activities from project award to completion, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery aligned with technical and safety standards.

• Coordinate with general contractors, building managers, architects, designers, and regulatory authorities regarding project design, preparation, and scheduling.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, superintendents, and senior leadership for project success.

• Handle contract administration, billing, RFIs, change orders, and payment processing.

• Interpret construction documents to analyze and implement modifications accurately.

• Support cost estimation and develop contingencies for project estimates.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 2+ years of relevant project management or construction experience.

• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft software and technical environments.
