The Product Manager - Education leads the development and management of CSA’s education-focused products, including publications, courses, and technology-based solutions.

This role focuses on market-driven innovation, identifying gaps and opportunities, developing business cases, securing funding, and ensuring successful product launches. The Product Manager works closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high engagement and adoption across CSA’s portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify development opportunities including new business, new markets, portfolio exits, or product enhancements to meet divisional goals.

  • Lead cross-sector and divisional initiatives, including working groups supporting core responsibilities.

  • Participate in defining functional strategies and support strategy implementation across teams.

  • Conduct customer interviews, win/loss analyses, surveys, and focus groups to assess market needs and trends.

  • Attend industry events and trade shows; engage with stakeholders to understand the market.

  • Conduct third-party research and market surveys to inform product strategy.

  • Develop and update buyer and user personas for key products.

  • Analyze industry landscape and competitive offerings.

  • Assist in developing multi-year strategic plans and annual product development plans.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders for product funding and sales opportunities.

  • Ensure seamless customer and stakeholder experience by maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.

  • Develop and oversee market launch plans for new products in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.

  • Create product knowledge resources, conduct training, and provide coaching for internal staff and third-party distributors.

  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to identify cross-sell, bundle, and subscription opportunities.

  • Make strategic presentations to executive leadership and represent CSA professionally in external engagements.

  • Develop positioning documents, business proposals, and business cases using data-driven decision-making.

  • Participate in annual business planning and revenue/cost forecasting; take corrective actions as needed.

  • Work with product development teams to ensure timely delivery of new and revised products.

  • Identify subject matter experts and instructors for product development and courses.

  • Assist in developing pricing models and determine list prices for new and revised products.


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • University degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in product management or marketing.

  • Proven project management skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

  • Experience with proposal writing and contract development.

  • Product management certification and industry experience considered an asset.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership.


Skills and Capabilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Ability to develop new customer contacts and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.

  • Analytical and strategic thinker with market awareness and business acumen.

  • Fluent in French and English is highly preferred.
