Groupe Montpetit, a well-established legal recruitment firm, is seeking a Director of Legal Talent – Professional Development to join a prestigious law firm in Montreal. This position offers a rare opportunity to engage directly in strategic, impactful projects involving the attraction, retention, and professional excellence of legal professionals.
This role combines high-level talent management responsibilities with strong involvement in recruitment strategy, development planning, and well-being initiatives within a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Oversee and support the integration, professional development, and performance of legal professionals.
Manage the entire recruitment process, including coordination with universities for internship programs.
Design and implement programs that enhance engagement and talent retention.
Develop and execute professional development and wellness programs.
Act as a key point of contact for new hires regarding career development.
Collaborate with firm leadership and internal services to optimize human, material, and operational resources.
Bachelor’s degree in Law required.
Proven experience in professional-level talent management, preferably within a law firm.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both French and English.
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated discretion and professionalism.
