Our client, a leading manufacturer of innovative energy solutions, is actively seeking a Business Development Director to drive expansion across North America, including the USA and Canada. This is a strategic and high-impact position ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the manufacturing industry and a successful track record in business development.
As the Business Development Director, your mission will be to develop new markets and increase market share through the creation and implementation of tailored sales strategies. You will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term client relationships, staying ahead of market trends, and continuously improving sales processes to achieve ambitious business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate new markets and grow revenue.
Foster strong client relationships to promote business collaboration and identify growth opportunities.
Monitor market trends and competitors to adapt strategies accordingly.
Analyze sales data and streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Set measurable business development targets and ensure their achievement.
Desired Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA considered an asset).
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with expertise in the North American manufacturing market.
Deep understanding of the manufacturing sector, preferably in energy storage.
Advanced sales and customer relationship management skills.
Fluent in French (written and spoken), with advanced English proficiency required for communication with clients, teams, and stakeholders across regions.
Willing to travel frequently within Canada and the United States.
