This opportunity is ideal for lawyers who have been called to the Bar between 2010 and 2020 and are in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.

The firm is looking for candidates who bring not only strong litigation skills but also a preferred book of business, which will complement and expand the client base of their partner law firms. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert civil litigation services to clients across a range of legal issues within Alberta’s jurisdiction.

• Manage and advance litigation files from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and attending mediations or trials.

• Develop and maintain a client book of business to support firm growth and reputation.

• Collaborate effectively with partners and colleagues within the firm to deliver high-quality legal advice and representation.

• Maintain compliance with all professional and regulatory requirements set forth by the Law Society of Alberta.

• Participate actively in firm business development initiatives and community engagement to enhance professional visibility.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.

• Called to the Bar between 2010 and 2020.

• Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, with a solid understanding of Alberta’s civil justice system.

• A preferred book of business that will add value and support the growth of the hiring firms.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Proven professional reputation and ethical standards.
