Senior Analyst

Description:

Labatt Breweries of Canada, one of Canada’s most iconic brewers with over 175 years of legacy, is seeking future talent for the role of Senior Analyst – Material Management & Scheduling. This pipeline posting targets passionate, detail-oriented professionals eager to play a vital role in managing material flow and production scheduling within a fast-paced brewery environment.

As part of Labatt’s national network, this role will support the Toronto Brewery’s operational planning, with responsibilities that impact supply chain reliability and production efficiency. This position requires cross-functional coordination, precision scheduling, and vendor collaboration to ensure uninterrupted brewery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage brewery packaging schedules while optimizing production line efficiency

• Coordinate with forecasting and procurement teams to place timely vendor purchase orders using SAP and MRP tools

• Monitor material cycle adherence and production schedule accuracy; adjust in real time as required

• Conduct daily meetings with brewery operations to identify material risks and set priorities

• Ensure MRP data integrity and manage Master Data, including Bills of Materials (BOM)

• Lead transitions for new packaging materials and supplier updates, aligning with innovation planning

• Actively participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline

• 2+ years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Technical competencies:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (including pivots, functions, VLOOKUPs)

  • Proficiency in SAP and APS tools

  • VBA and Power BI experience are strong assets

• Self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
