💼 Role: Production Support Analyst – Akamai

We are looking for an experienced Production Support Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Akamai CDN, web application delivery, and web security to support enterprise web platforms and ensure high availability, performance, and security across production environments.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot production issues across network, application, and system environments, performing root cause analysis and resolution.
• Configure and maintain Akamai property configurations, CDN caching, routing, redirects, and web performance optimization.
• Support Akamai NetStorage, Cloudlets, SiteShield, Kona Site Defender, WAF, and related security solutions.
• Monitor production performance, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with SLA requirements.
• Manage DNS, domains, URL redirects, SSL certificates, and web delivery configurations.
• Collaborate with DevOps, CloudOps, development, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
• Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with vendors, support service requests, and participate in rotational on-call support.
🔹 Required Technical Skills
✅ Hands-on experience with Akamai CDN and property configuration
✅ Akamai Cloudlets, NetStorage, caching, routing, and content delivery
✅ Web Application Firewall (WAF) and web security configuration
✅ DNS management and SSL certificate administration
✅ NGINX and Apache reverse proxy technologies
✅ AWS and Azure gateway fundamentals
✅ Production support, incident management, and root cause analysis
✅ Jira and Confluence
✅ Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
🔹 Nice to Have
• Experience with Akamai SiteShield, Kona Site Defender, Prolexic, Bot Manager, and Security Monitor
• Experience with Heroku or other web hosting platforms
• AngularJS and mobile application support (iOS and Android)
• Knowledge of media streaming and media players
• Previous experience as a Webmaster or Akamai Support Analyst
