Qa Compliance Lead

Description:

Give & Go Prepared Foods, a proud member of the Mondelēz family and a leading North American manufacturer of baked goods, is seeking a QA Compliance Lead to oversee and ensure compliance with all company, customer, GFSI, and regulatory quality requirements. The role also serves as the SQF Practitioner for the site, ensuring that quality programs and systems are properly implemented, maintained, and enhanced. Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and implement procedures and policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Provide training and support on procedures, standards, and policies.

• Coordinate inspections, audits, and testing requirements with internal teams and regulatory agencies.

• Act as Plant Lead for third-party audits, regulatory visits, and customer audits.

• Update quality programs to meet evolving customer requirements.

• Support Supplier Quality Programs and internal quality initiatives.

• Maintain compliance with health and safety programs, rules, and legislation, reporting incidents and unsafe conditions promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biology, Engineering, Microbiology, Operations Management, or related field.

• 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with skills in Quality Systems development, internal auditing, and people management.

• Certified Quality Auditor or Professional Quality Designation preferred.

• Technical knowledge of food safety, GMP, food manufacturing processes, sanitation, and microbiology.

• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies (CFIA, FDA).

• Proficiency with Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.

• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, Preventive Controls, Quality Systems, statistical processes, and problem-solving techniques.
