Payroll Analyst

Description:

Flynn Group of Companies, a North American leader in trade contracting and building envelope solutions, is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their team in Mississauga, ON. This role involves processing payroll, ensuring compliance with union rates and government regulations, handling remittances and garnishments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting various payroll-related activities across branches.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in payroll processing, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to navigate both unionized and non-unionized payroll environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review payroll system to ensure union rate compliance

• Assist with system setup requirements (Jira Ticket creation, review, and validation)

• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll legislation and company policies

• Process CRA and EHT remittances, garnishments, and union payments

• Liaise with branches on payroll-related matters

• Respond to union inquiries

• Maintain employee records in line with government regulations

• Support other payroll-related duties as assigned
