Marketing Automation Manager

 

Description:

  • Envision client journeys and reconcile against the technical requirements
  • Facilitate the creation and execution of campaigns and journeys
  • Create and maintain automations that utilize multiple data sources for campaigns
  • Facilitate development and maintain marketing automation integration with digital experiences
  • Establish and optimize the connection of the marketing automation platform with Salesforce CRM
  • Integrate marketing campaign data with the customer records
  • Provide test cases to QA, or conduct UAT testing on platform
  • Implement personalization strings (e.g. AMPScript) to deliver a high-quality customer experience
  • Implement and enforce standards around email naming convention, storage and sun-setting
  • Manage calendar and send dates
  • Implement process improvement and quality assurance checkpoints
  • Monitor and improve level-1 plays (onboarding, retargeting, subscriptions)
  • Oversee unsubscribe process and ensure data fidelity
  • Document all system processes and training guides as needed
  • Train new and existing users on system functionality
  • Stay current on all release notes and communicate any new features or changes to the organization

 

 

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • 2-5 years experience with marketing automation
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience managing technical project implementation within a marketing automation platform
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical and critical thinking
  • Proven ability to identify gaps, research solutions, implement plans, and assess performance of marketing campaigns
  • Experience creating process diagrams with Visio or other flow diagramming programs
  • Familiarity with agile development processes

  • A confident and proactive self-starter with exceptional attention to process and detail and ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Concurrent projects may include requirements gathering, design and project planning/management, in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans and exceed client expectations and project goals
  • Familiar with the concepts of demand generation, marketing channels and marketing metrics
  • Knowledge of email best practices, A/B and multi variable testing approaches/goals.
  • Understanding of technical marketing, including SEO and SEM
  • Deeply curious about both our clients and ways to improve their engagement and consideration with Invesco, as well as marketing automation and technology best practices inside or outside the asset management industry
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Thorough knowledge of sales & marketing processes
  • Self-starter personality with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
  • Outstanding analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills – written, verbal and non-verbal
  • Familiarity of SQL or other database languages
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other design languages

 

Formal Education(minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Science, Mathematics, etc.) and/or equivalent work experience

 

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures
  • The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary
  • Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment
  • Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support by pager and/or cell phone
  • Occasional travel may be required
