Content Marketing Manager

Description:

As the Content Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for creating and delivering compelling content that brings Spektrix marketing strategy, expertise, client stories, products, and point of view to life, while leading the day-to-day delivery of selected integrated prospect campaigns.

You'll take day-to-day ownership of selected prospect campaigns or cohorts, shaping the audience proposition and content journey and coordinating delivery across relevant channels. You'll turn campaign objectives, ideas, insights, and briefs into high-quality content for prospects, clients, partners, and the wider arts, culture, & in-person experience sector.

This role combines excellent writing and editorial judgment with strong marketing instincts. You should be able to understand the purpose and audience behind a piece of work, find the most compelling story or angle, adapt it for different channels, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure content reaches its audience and drives action.

What You'll Do

  • Multi-Format Content Strategy & Execution: End-to-end creation of high-quality copy across channels—including long-form thought leadership, web/landing pages, emails, social media, case studies, sales enablement, and product launch assets.
  • Campaign & Messaging Leadership: Partner with the Head of Content & Campaigns to build compelling narratives, leading day-to-day campaign execution across organic/paid channels to ensure alignment, timely delivery, and clear tracking.
  • Thought Leadership & Sector Expertise: Transform industry research, client insights, and internal expertise into distinctive content that provides genuine value to the arts and culture sector and cements Spektrix as a trusted voice.
  • Channel Distribution & Performance Optimization: Repurpose core content across channels and collaborate with Digital Marketing to track metrics, test formats, and continuously optimize for audience engagement and lead generation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Client Marketing, Sales, and Web teams to produce enablement materials, co-marketing collateral, event content, and retention campaigns.
  • Editorial Quality & Workflow Management: Serve as a brand guardian by maintaining top-tier editorial standards across regional variants (US, UK, CA, AU) while seamlessly managing timelines, dependencies, and contributor workflows.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in content marketing, copywriting, editorial, communications, or a related role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to make complex ideas clear, engaging, and useful.
  • Experience creating content across multiple formats and channels, and coordinating content for integrated campaigns which may include web, email, social media, events, video, or paid digital activity.
  • Strong understanding of how content supports broader marketing objectives, including awareness, engagement, demand generation, client engagement, and conversion.
  • Ability to understand different audiences and adapt messaging, tone, depth, and format accordingly, bringing strong familiarity with US and/or Canadian audiences, culture, and English-language conventions.
  • Experience translating briefs, interviews, research, data, or subject-matter expertise into compelling finished content.
  • Strong editorial judgment, including the ability to identify the strongest angle, distinguish important information from supporting detail, and challenge a brief when a different approach would better achieve the intended outcome.
  • Experience developing and managing organic social media content.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, polished, accessible work.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different disciplines and incorporate feedback without losing sight of the purpose and audience of the work.
  • Curiosity and the ability to quickly develop an understanding of unfamiliar topics, audiences, products, and sector issues.
  • Ability to take ownership of an assignment from initial brief through completion, proactively identifying missing information, dependencies, decisions, and next steps.

Benefits

  • Health benefit package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, Disability, and more!)
  • Generous Paid Time Off benefits, including:
    • 22 days of PTO (vacation, personal time, whatever you choose to use it for)
