We are looking for a Heavy-Duty Maintenance Attendant for our La Cité property in Montréal, QC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the property, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of common areas, garages, and outdoor spaces, including waste collection.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to the Building Operations Manager or Residential Manager.
• Assist in cleaning vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
• Conduct snow removal and apply sand or salt on walkways during winter for safety.
• Perform daily security inspections of the building, including checking doors, locks, and lighting.
• Keep accurate cleaning logs and maintain a well-organized storage and office area.
• Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, ensuring proper inventory levels.
• Assist in minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, waste collection, and restocking supplies.
• Perform seasonal landscaping duties, such as watering flower beds and planters.
• Handle daily waste and recycling tasks, ensuring proper disposal in coordination with city collectors or contracted vendors.

Job Qualifications:

• Passion for customer service excellence and problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, including furniture, appliances, and waste bins.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Criminal background check required.
