Description:

Maple Leaf Foods Inc, a leading meat and plant-based protein company with a strong focus on sustainability, is seeking enthusiastic Team Members for General Operations at its modern, state-of-the-art plant in London, Ontario. This position offers an excellent opportunity for students and individuals seeking temporary work during the summer months, with both day and afternoon shifts available.

As a Team Member, you will play an essential role on the production line, contributing to the creation of high-quality poultry products while adhering to stringent health, safety, and food quality standards. You will be actively involved in monitoring product specifications, operating production equipment, and supporting continuous improvement in the plant’s processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on production lines to process and package high-quality poultry products.

• Monitor product quality, perform regular checks, and report discrepancies.

• Operate production equipment, manage operating parameters, and monitor performance.

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, WHMIS, and Health & Safety standards.

• Handle raw poultry products and work efficiently in varying environmental conditions.

• Support the team with additional tasks as required, including overtime when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 18 years or older with legal eligibility to work in Canada.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Willingness to learn new tasks and contribute as a team player.

• Comfortable handling raw poultry products.

• Capable of working in a fast-paced and repetitive work environment.
