Evaluation Technician

Description:

The MRC des Etchemins is a community of 13 municipalities covering 1,810 km² with around 17,000 inhabitants. It is a beautiful region with agricultural and forested landscapes offering excellent quality of life and abundant recreational activities.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Evaluation Service Coordinator, the technician will:

• Inspect residential and agricultural properties for evaluation purposes in accordance with the Municipal Taxation Act

• Perform tasks to maintain, create, and update property assessment rolls

• Visit and update renovation permits

• Update and investigate real estate transactions

• Perform other related duties as needed

Employment Conditions:

• Temporary full-time position (35 hours per week)

• Duration: Approximately 10 to 12 months (maternity leave replacement)

• Work location: Lac-Etchemin

• Salary according to the collective agreement (CA$23.82 to CA$35.72/hour)

• Vacation based on years of service as per collective agreement
