BGO Immobilier, a Canadian division of BentallGreenOak (BGO), is seeking a Directeur immobilier – Property Manager to join their dynamic Montreal team. Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee daily property management operations.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure high operational standards.

  • Lead capital projects and building/property leasehold improvements.

  • Prepare tender documentation and manage service contracts.

  • Collaborate with the leasing team to achieve budgeted leasing goals.

  • Stay informed about market trends, community initiatives, and competitive activities.

  • Train, motivate, and recognize the efforts of the operations team.

Customer Service:

  • Foster strong tenant relationships through consistent personal contact and high-quality customer service.

  • Oversee tenant satisfaction surveys, ensuring thorough follow-up and resolution of issues.

Financial & Reporting:

  • Ensure property income and expenses are managed within approved budgets.

  • Analyze monthly financial statements and prepare management reports.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the property’s annual budget.

  • Prepare detailed quarterly reports for clients.

  • Implement strategies to control operational expenses.

Other Duties:

  • Additional responsibilities as required by the role.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in property management or a related field.

  • At least 10 years of experience in large-scale property management.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Professionalism in interactions with tenants, team members, and stakeholders.

  • Proficient in problem-solving, time management, and multitasking.

  • Strategic decision-making ability and adaptability to change.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of Yardi is an asset.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

  • Required: Bilingual (French and English – oral and written).

  • Required: RPA or CPM designation (completed or in progress).

  • Required: Clean criminal background check.
