Assistant Controller

Description:

Quantum Management Services Ltd. is hiring an Assistant Controller for a well-established real estate and construction company located in Terrebonne, Quebec. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full accounting cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings

• Prepare and review financial statements across multiple entities

• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls

• Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures

• Serve as a liaison with external auditors and financial institutions

• Collaborate with senior leadership to support informed strategic decision-making

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor's degree, Accounting Certificate, DEC, AEC, or DEP in Accounting

• Experience: Minimum 4 years in accounting, preferably in real estate, construction, or project-based environments

• Skills:

  • Experience handling multi-entity accounting

  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities

  • Comfort working in dynamic, high-volume environments
