Customer Service Clerk

Description:

PPG, through its brand Bétonel/Dulux, is hiring a Part-Time Customer Service Clerk for its retail store in Longueuil, QC. This is a day shift position with working hours typically from Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Saturday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), and Sunday (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM). The role offers an opportunity to grow in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

As a Customer Service Clerk, you will report directly to the Store Manager and act as a key point of contact for clients. Your role is essential to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. You will build strong relationships with both walk-in customers and professional contractors by understanding their painting supply needs and guiding them to appropriate solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and advise customers by assessing their needs and offering suitable paint and supply options.

• Tint and match paint products accurately.

• Recommend complementary items such as brushes, rollers, and other supplies.

• Maintain a clean and well-stocked retail environment.

• Handle, move, and store products safely according to safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and potential overtime.

• Basic computer literacy and internet usage.

• Physical capacity to bend, kneel, squat, and lift up to 80 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs regularly.

• Fluent in French; bilingual (French and English) is preferred due to national coverage.
