Description:

B&Q, one of the leading names in the home improvement retail sector, is hiring Customer Advisors to join their flooring and tiling department at the Liffey Valley store. As part of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers bring their home improvement ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an advisor and guide to customers, providing expert support and inspiration for their projects.

• Assist with sales activities while maintaining strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• Manage stock levels, maintain displays, and ensure the store environment is welcoming and well-presented.

• Gain hands-on experience in additional skills such as paint-mixing and timber-cutting.

• Deliver outstanding customer service by being approachable, friendly, and supportive.

Requirements:

• Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in home improvement.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers confidently.

• Willingness to learn new skills, adapt to new technologies, and embrace different working practices.

• Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.

• Flexibility to work on a rota, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

Contract Details:

• Full-time role (36.75 hours per week).

• 3-month fixed term contract.

• Shifts available Monday to Sunday between 7:00 am – 10:00 pm.
