icebreaker, a pioneer in ethical and sustainable natural performance apparel, is seeking a Sales Associate for its Vancouver, BC store. This role focuses on creating a best-in-class customer experience, actively engaging with diverse customers, and ensuring the store’s operational and visual standards are maintained. As a brand that values sustainability, icebreaker is committed to transitioning to 100% merino or plant-based fibers and achieving a Plastic Free mission by 2023.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary customer-facing representative, delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

• Engage customers with deep product, brand, and activity knowledge.

• Assist in daily store operations including visual merchandising and stock maintenance.

• Collaborate with the team to achieve customer engagement and sales targets.

• Maintain flexibility in working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

• Ability to engage comfortably with a diverse customer base.

• Strong customer service skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work during peak retail hours.

• Basic computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, software applications).

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Retail or apparel industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: CAD 13.44 – 20.16 (starting at CAD 18.40/hour).
