Description:

B&Q is seeking a Customer Advisor for Checkouts to join their Fraser Valley B team. This role involves providing excellent customer service at the tills, assisting with click & collect, setting up displays, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The advisor becomes an expert guide for customers on their home improvement projects, combining sales, advice, and inspiration to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service at checkouts.

  • Support click & collect operations and assist with displays.

  • Ensure the store is visually appealing and well-organized.

  • Gain knowledge of various home improvement areas through training.

  • Work collaboratively with the team and adapt to flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.

  • Eagerness to learn and expand skills, including new technology.

  • Strong team player with flexibility to work on a rota.

  • Passion for home improvement and helping customers.
