Yard Worker

Description:

PERI Canada is seeking a Yard Worker/Service-Maintenance professional to maintain and service PERI products and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and quality standards. The role involves handling, repairing, and maintaining components using hand and power tools, performing quality control on all returned materials, and actively participating in inventory and safety processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Count, service, and maintain parts according to defined quality, productivity, and rental criteria.

• Differentiate parts and components by color, shape, and size.

• Handle both large and small formwork and scaffolding components.

• Remove, repair, and replace basic components using hand tools (hammers, chisels, screwdrivers, spanners, pliers) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders, routers, rivet guns).

• Log service work accurately and participate in cycle counts and inventory processes.

• Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety and comply with all company policies and provincial health and safety standards.

• Participate in health and safety meetings and report hazards or accidents.

• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to handle both large and small parts for preparation and movement.

• Ability to differentiate parts by color, shape, and size.

• Basic arithmetic skills for counting parts.

• Commitment to workplace safety and health.

• Capable of lifting up to 10 kg regularly and up to 20 kg occasionally.

• Comfortable working both outdoors and indoors year-round.

• Regular exposure to dust, dirt, and heavy equipment traffic.

• Availability for overtime during weekdays and weekends as needed.

• Must wear required personal protective equipment.
