Warehouse And Materials Manager

Description:

Dasco Storage Solutions is looking for a Warehouse and Materials Manager for our Brampton facility.

This role is responsible for all movement of inventory and organization of the warehouse space, including but not limited to:

· Tracking and ensuring product is delivered to the assembly area with amble time for assembly and packaging before the anticipated shipment date

· Organization of the physical warehousing space, and completing roll-out of inventory locations within our ERP system

· Ensuring all manufacturing receipts, and inventory transfers are completed in a timely and accurate manner

· Overseeing purchasing personnel, conducting strategic cost evaluation and potential re-sourcing exercises on critical and high value components

· Lead annual inventory count process for warehouse area, ensuring al pre-counting is completed and product is accurately located in our ERP to ensure ease of counting

· Oversee the shipping/ receiving team members, ensuring all product is received accurately, and outgoing shipments meet quality standards for packaging and loading

· Oversee inventory clerk position, responsibilities of which include but are not limited to:

o Running the weekly inventory review, including conducting cycle counts of inventory weekly, and processing adjustments as required to ensure accurate reporting of inventory

o Receive all steel and paint turn-in sheets, to be logged in Excel and compared to ERP expected usage

o Managing kanban supply items, ensuring purchasing is aware of material requirements

Qualifications

· Must have experience with inventory management, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

· Excel competency

· 5+ years of manufacturing/ warehouse experience

· 5+ years of management/ team leadership experience

· Relevant College Diploma/ University Degree is an asset
