As the Volunteer Marketing Officer, you will work closely alongside the Executive Director and Program Director to ensure our marketing strategies perfectly match our community development goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand & Launch Strategy: Co-lead the formal launch of AACDA’s website and foundational digital infrastructure.
- Content Creation & Social Media: Design, curate, and manage consistent content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and community channels to build awareness.
- Campaign Management: Promote our upcoming community engagement initiatives.
- Impact Storytelling: Draft compelling narratives, newsletters, and promotional materials that showcase AACDA's vision to potential funders, partners, and volunteers.

- Experienced: You have a background in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Graphic Design (experience with non-profits or community grassroots organizations is a massive asset).
- Mission-Driven: You are genuinely passionate about supporting African immigrant, newcomer, and underserved families in Ontario.
- A Self-Starter: Since we are in the foundational phase, you are comfortable working with a blank canvas, setting up new social grids, and creating systems from scratch.
- Skill Set: Proficient with social media management tools, basic graphic design (Canva or Adobe Suite), and website management platforms.
