Description:

Maple Leaf Foods Inc, a leading meat and plant-based protein company, is seeking Team Members for General Operations at their London, Ontario plant. This is a casual, temporary role ideal for students seeking summer employment. Team Members play a vital role in ensuring high-quality production while upholding health, safety, and food quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on the production line in various roles to produce high-quality poultry products.

• Monitor product quality and specifications, performing necessary checks.

• Operate production equipment, manage parameters, monitor performance, and report issues.

• Perform other tasks according to daily production requirements, including overtime as needed.

• Follow all health, safety, food quality, and food safety standards, including GMPs, HACCP, and WHMIS.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Team player with willingness to learn new tasks.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Comfortable handling or working around raw poultry products.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and a range of environmental conditions.

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in Canada.
