We are looking for an experienced Production Support Analyst specializing in Akamai/CDN technologies to join our team in Toronto / Brampton, ON.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Akamai property configurations, CDN management, web application security, Cloudlets, WAF tuning, and modern web delivery technologies.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot network, application, and system issues using logs and monitoring tools.
Configure and maintain Akamai CDN properties and cloud-based web delivery solutions.
Manage Akamai Cloudlets, caching, routing, redirects, and web performance.
Monitor production systems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
Work closely with DevOps, CloudOps, developers, and infrastructure teams.
Handle incident, change, and problem management following ITIL processes.
Manage DNS, domains, SSL certificates, and URL redirects.
Support WAF configurations and web application security.
Coordinate with vendors and ensure SLA compliance.
Prepare technical documentation and root cause analysis reports.
Participate in rotational on-call support.
🔹 Required Technical Skills
Akamai CDN: Property Manager, NetStorage, Cloudlets and delivery configurations.
Akamai Security: Kona Site Defender, SiteShield, WAF, Prolexic and Bot Manager.
Web Technologies: NGINX, Apache, reverse proxy.
Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure Gateways.
Networking: DNS, SSL Certificates, HTTP/HTTPS and URL redirects.
Tools: Jira and Confluence.
Additional Technologies: AngularJS, Heroku PaaS and web application platforms.
🔹 Preferred Experience
Hands-on Akamai configuration and production support experience.
Experience with web performance optimization and caching strategies.
Knowledge of Adaptive Image Compression, Edge Redirector, Image Manager and Site Failover.
Experience supporting mobile applications (iOS and Android).
Knowledge of media players and streaming technologies is an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
