Living Sky School Division is inviting visionary leaders to apply for the role of Superintendent of Learning, starting August 1, 2025. As a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, this strategic position is designed for a dynamic and forward-thinking leader who can drive system-wide transformation in a progressive educational environment.

The Superintendent will play a critical role in ensuring overall system effectiveness, advancing inclusive education, and spearheading leadership development across the division’s 28 schools. The ideal candidate must be experienced in school or division-level administration, possess a strong background in inclusive educational practices, and exhibit a collaborative leadership style focused on innovation, equity, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead system-wide strategic initiatives and transformation aligned with division goals

• Promote and implement inclusive, equitable education practices across all schools

• Support the development and mentorship of school leaders

• Contribute to system change through redefined processes, structures, and culture

• Serve as a thought leader in a division actively transitioning to a new operational model

• Collaborate closely with the Director of Education and other senior leaders

Candidate Profile:

• Proven administrative and leadership experience in K–12 education

• Deep understanding of inclusive education philosophies and systemic implementation

• Demonstrated capacity for leading change within complex educational environments

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

• A mindset geared toward innovation, adaptability, and long-term vision

Living Sky School Division employs over 800 staff and serves approximately 5,500 students across 28 schools located in 19 diverse communities in west-central Saskatchewan.
