Educational Assistant

This posting is for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant at St. Vital Catholic School, commencing August 28, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioural support as required by students and directed by teachers.

As an Educational Assistant, you will focus on supporting various student programming at different grade levels.

Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience

Preference will be given to an individual who has obtained a post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program
