Description:
Element Fleet Management is seeking a Sales Director with expertise in government sector sales to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive new business within the government sector, focusing on fleet management, financing, and service solutions. This role requires a highly motivated sales hunter who thrives on building strong relationships and delivering innovative solutions to government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new business leads through cold calling, networking, and other sales strategies.
Engage in solution selling of various fleet management products and services.
Maintain and manage assigned databases, ensuring all accounts are well-classified and scoped.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with government prospects and clients.
Develop sales strategies and tactical plans to maximize deal opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deal execution.
Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and cash flow analysis for deal feasibility and structuring.
Prepare customized proposals and pricing models for clients.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience in the government sector, with knowledge of its policies and processes.
Minimum 5+ years in B2B solution selling (preferably complex financial products/services).
Strong ability to influence and sell at C-suite level.
Track record of sales success through structured sales cycles.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of B2B sales with complex sales models (financing, SaaS, etc.).
