Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day production activities and managing a large team of unionized employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise production operations for the day shift

• Lead, guide, and motivate production teams while ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality, and productivity standards

• Work closely with quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics departments

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the integration of new equipment

Candidate Profile:

• DEC in food processing, industrial engineering, or related field

• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized production environment

• Comfortable working in a high-volume, automated setting

• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP)

• Strong proficiency in computer tools, especially Excel

• Ability to respond quickly to unexpected challenges and make sound decisions in real time

• Demonstrates positive leadership, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility
