Description:

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., the largest flat-rolled steel company and iron ore pellet producer in North America, is seeking Part-Time General Labourers (On-Call) at its Windsor, Ontario Stamping Facility, a division of Cannon Automotive Solutions. The role is crucial in handling the final stages of product manufacturing before shipment to customers. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing production line work such as reworking, packing, and sorting parts.

• Assisting press operators with set-up procedures.

• Supporting maintenance, tooling, quality, and logistics departments.

• Conducting quality checks to ensure product meets specifications.

• Operating welding and grinding hand tools.

• Maintaining housekeeping standards in work areas.

• Carrying out additional tasks as directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.

• Ability to consistently meet quotas and performance standards through repetitive tasks.

• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

• Flexibility to work on a rotating 3-shift schedule: midnights, days, and afternoons.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in working with tools and equipment.
