Conduct analytical tests on raw materials to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
Perform quality control tests on raw materials and finished products, ensuring that non-conforming items are not released.
Ensure traceability of all samples, document deviations, propose corrective actions, record results, and prepare detailed analytical reports.
Maintain and clean laboratory equipment, and perform preventive maintenance operations.
Organize and conduct shelf-life evaluations for specific food products.
Apply standard operating procedures and quality assurance protocols, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance and R&D teams to support ongoing projects and innovation.
Manage and update laboratory inventory, organize storage, and ensure timely reordering of supplies.
Support R&D project managers in experimental trials and sensory evaluations.
Conduct physicochemical analyses, develop testing methods for product innovation, shelf-life studies, quality control, and approval processes, and prepare comprehensive analytical reports.
College diploma (DEC) or equivalent in laboratory technology, biotechnology, or food science.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in a food laboratory or quality control role.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards such as GMP and HACCP.
Proficient in analytical testing techniques and laboratory methodologies.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong technical skills in laboratory equipment operation.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and precise in execution.
Thorough knowledge of regulatory and safety standards in the food industry.
