Description:

Airbus Atlantique, a global leader in aerospace structures and premium aircraft seating solutions, is seeking a Superviseur Méthodes Support UAP (Methods Supervisor) to join its growing team in Mirabel, Montreal, QC. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to lead a team of methods agents, providing essential support to production and ensuring technical excellence across assembly operations.

As a key member of the manufacturing engineering team, the Methods Supervisor will play a critical role in coordinating industrialization processes, supporting production teams, and ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Airbus’s world-class quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the methods team, ensuring alignment with production needs and project priorities.

  • Serve as a technical liaison between the production department and engineering, providing timely support and solutions to manufacturing challenges.

  • Ensure the delivery of all technical deliverables within cost, quality, and time objectives.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTD (On-Time Delivery), EVM (Earned Value Management), and FTR (First Time Right).

  • Guarantee that all technical scopes meet customer, manufacturing, and program requirements.

  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and decision-making support to team members when required.

  • Conduct individual employee development meetings, fostering professional growth and technical capability.

  • Promote team cohesion and maintain an efficient and collaborative working environment.

  • Prepare, present, and validate project proposals and progress reports with cross-functional teams.

  • Monitor departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

  • Develop risk management plans and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or production issues.

  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives across production and project management processes.

  • Promote health, safety, and company values across all work practices.


Candidate Profile:

  • Education:

    • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Aeronautics required.

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or management is considered an asset.

  • Experience:

    • 5–10 years of experience in methods or industrialization, preferably in aerospace production or assembly environments.

    • Solid understanding of assembly processes, tooling design, and capacity analysis.

    • Proven ability to interpret and create technical drawings and manufacturing routings.

    • Proficiency in aeronautical standards and tolerance principles (GD&T, chain of dimensions).

    • Experience with elementary parts manufacturing considered an advantage.

  • Skills & Attributes:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

    • Ability to manage priorities, handle multiple tasks, and ensure on-time project completion.
