Production Scheduler

Description:

TreeHouse Foods, a leading manufacturer of private label packaged foods and beverages, is seeking a Finite Scheduler at their Brantford, Ontario facility. The Finite Scheduler will develop and optimize production schedules, balancing operational and supply chain requirements. This role ensures efficient plant operations while aligning production schedules with business priorities and customer demands.

Responsibilities:

• Translate weekly item-level master schedule into daily, line/shift-level production schedules.

• Adjust schedules based on incoming materials or near-term customer orders, optimizing operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with integrated planning and plant operations teams to ensure accurate schedule execution.

• Communicate daily with Master Scheduler and operations regarding production schedules and changes.

• Utilize systems to improve productivity and efficiency, ensuring inventory management and operational metrics are maintained.

• Support cross-functional teams including new products, customer promotional events, and merchandising.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, production scheduling, demand planning, or operations.

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SAP/ERP; ability to access and analyze data for decision-making.

• Professional communication skills with the ability to present and interact with personnel at all levels.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Self-motivated, able to multitask, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
