Product Manager

 

Description:

TalentMinded Inc. is hiring a Product Manager, Debt Management on behalf of a long-established North American provider of debt management software. This is a full-time, fully remote position available to candidates across Canada or the U.S.

In this strategic role, you will manage the transformation of a legacy server-based debt management product into a modern, web-based platform. You will serve as the critical bridge between clients, technical teams, and business leaders, gathering direct user feedback and using it to define and drive a customer-focused roadmap.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about financial software, debt management, and building impactful products that support government and enterprise finance professionals in managing debt and investments more efficiently and accurately.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Ownership & Strategy:

  • Own the entire product lifecycle from roadmap planning to feature delivery

  • Conduct market and client research to inform short- and long-term strategies

  • Translate client feedback and product vision into user stories and requirements

  • Identify improvement opportunities to transition the product to a scalable web-based platform

Client & Team Collaboration:

  • Act as a client advocate, ensuring the product reflects real-world user needs

  • Engage directly with users to gather feedback and iterate on features

  • Work closely with the Development Lead, General Manager, and Operations Director

  • Communicate product value and goals to internal stakeholders and external clients

Execution & Delivery:

  • Guide the implementation and testing of new features

  • Define KPIs, track product performance, and refine based on insights

  • Champion product launches and post-launch improvements


What You Bring:

  • A deep understanding of debt management and its challenges

  • Experience building or working on financial or government-facing software solutions

  • A sense of ownership, with the ability to balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business impact

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to align cross-functional teams

  • A passion for improving complex workflows through software innovation
