Petro Canada Store Manager

Description:

This role calls for an experienced and motivated Store Manager / Supervisor to take full ownership of operations at multiple Petro Canada convenience store locations. Initially, you will receive store management training at the Boundary Road location before overseeing the stores located in Cornwall and Renfrew.

You will lead day-to-day store operations with the goal of driving sales, improving profitability, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store appearance. This hands-on leadership position requires excellent organizational skills, staff management, and operational oversight to ensure smooth functioning across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations across several Petro Canada stores.

• Set, communicate, and drive sales performance targets to maximize profitability.

• Hire, train, and evaluate staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and customer service.

• Develop and manage employee schedules to maintain adequate staffing.

• Keep stores clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

• Monitor stock levels, place inventory orders, and ensure timely restocking.

• Liaise with suppliers and accounting for payment processing.

• Perform physical duties including lifting and moving merchandise.

• Travel regularly between multiple store locations (vehicle and gas allowance provided).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing a gas station or convenience store.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work hands-on and lead by example.

• Physically fit to handle manual labor tasks involved.

• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory.
